Lucy (Marrone) O’Malley 97, of Leominster, died Monday, March 10, 2014, in Life Care Center of Leominster surrounded by her family. She was born on August 12, 1916, in Leominster, MA and was the daughter of Santo and Angelina (Farinelli) Marrone. She worked for over 30 years in the cafeteria at St. Leo’s School. She was a member of St. Leo’s Parish, she volunteered at St. Leo’s Bingo for over 20 years, and was the Past Secretary of the Daughters of Isabella. Lucy is survived by her two sons, Richard “Rick” O’Malley and his wife Carla of Marlboro, Patrick J. “PJ” O’Malley of Leominster, her daughter Margaret Larochelle and her husband Pierre of Goffstown, N.H., her sister Mercy Hughes of Los Angeles, CA, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by her husband Patrick J. O’Malley, her brothers Joseph Marrone, Egidio Marrone, Carl Marrone, her sisters Ann Marrone, Mary Mercik, and Ann Marrone.
