Lucille June Volcheff, 84, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died peacefully July 24th at her home after struggles with various heart conditions. She was preceded in death by her husband Nick J. Volcheff in 2007. Lucille was born June 24, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Phoenix with her family in 1939. A homemaker her entire life, she was also a self taught professional artist whose Arizona Indian themed works have been displayed in numerous galleries and businesses across the Southwest.
She is survived by a sister, Alice Lalla of Grand Junction, CO; three children, Mark Volcheff of Colorado Springs, CO, Eric Volcheff of Manitowoc, WI and Karen Volcheff of Scottsdale, plus four grandchildren.
Memorials: Lucille loved animals, especially those in need of a good home.
