Lucille Ruppersburg Moynahan, 84, of Newnan died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. She was born June 14, 1927 in Atlanta to the late Louis Arthur Ruppersburg & Ethel Finley Ruppersburg. Lucille grew up in College Park and was a 1944 graduate of College Park High School. She attended Shorter College before going to work in the personnel department of Delta Airlines. While working at Delta she met her husband of over 60 years, Frank J. Moynahan. All her life she was a passionate bridge player participating in several clubs. After moving to Newnan, she became very active in the community serving as a volunteer with the Newnan Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include husband, Frank J. Moynahan of Newnan; daughters, Nancy Moynahan Carson & husband Tom of Newnan, Susan Moynahan Goodson & husband John of Newnan; son, Tom Moynahan & wife Kathy of Newnan; grandchildren, Chad Carson & wife Kari of Clemson, SC, Andrew Carson & wife Emily of Charleston, SC, Meredith Goodson McCloud & husband Andrew of Augusta, GA, Scott Goodson of Newnan; great-granddaughter, Serena Joy Carson of Clemson, SC; numerous nieces and nephews.
