Lucille “Lou” L. Kocher, age 91, of Burlington, passed away at her home on Friday May 13, 2016. Ms. Kocher was born in Camden and had a been a longtime resident of Burlington Twp. Lou will fondly be remembered as; self-reliant, strong-willed, and hard-working. She was the owner and operator of Arbury Kennels in Burlington and worked boarding, grooming and breeding dogs for almost 50 years. Lou had been a member of the American Kennel Club as well as the American and Delaware Valley Mini Schnauzer Clubs. Mrs. Kocher was deeply rooted in family values and loved kids. She worked as a group teacher at Hickory Woods Child Care in Burlington and was affectionately referred to as “Aunt Cille” by all of the children. At home Lou had a passion for antique cars and collected models.

She enjoyed coin collecting and adding to her collection of antique clocks just as much as rooting on the Phillies & Eagles. Ms. Kocher is the daughter of the late Richard F. & Emma J. (nee Gaskill) Kocher, Sr. and is the sister of Ronald F., Sr. and his wife Lois, Robert F. & his wife Joan, the late Vivian Goralczyk and the late Richard F., Jr. and his wife Annamae. Lou is also survived by her dear friend Carolyn Urban, Pat Shaker and family and is the dear aunt of; Julie (Vic) Pesaresi, the late Joseph (Midge) Goralczyk, Joyce & her late husband Jose Ramsey, Lynn (Frank) Umstetter, Janice L. (Art) States, Richard F., III (Amy), Cheryl (Rich) Galdieri, Ronald, the late David, Robert, Nancy (Tom) Vargas.
