VOSS, Lucille J. entered into eternal glory, Tuesday morning, December 6, 2011, after gracefully enduring a ten-year struggle with dementia. She was born May 29, 1923 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Harry and Wilhemina Ebelink Ivanhoe.
Lucille was a life member of the Bethany Reformed Church where she was a volunteer and active in the women’s guild and circle. On August 13, 1947, she was united in marriage to her loving husband of 64 years, Ernest Voss, who survives.
Also, surviving are her daughters, Karen Neal VanVeen of Otley, IA, and Nancy William Gezon of Holland; 5 grandchildren, Lisa Tim Mroz, Jessica Andy Bourgeois, Julie Dave Ornee, Janna Nick Pierson, Angela VanVeen and fiancé Kyle Kreeger; great-grandchildren, Willa Pierson and Evy Mroz; sisters and brothers, Frances VanHoe of Portage, Donald VanHoe of Kalamazoo, Lois Johnson of Portage; sisters-in-law, Kay VanHoe of Kalamazoo and Gertrude Voss of Holland; and several nieces and nephews.
Lucille was preceded in death by a brother, Harold VanHoe.
