Lucille Ferrero, 91 of Jackson died at home Tuesday, September 3, 2019. She was born April 5, 1928 in Staten Island, New York to the late Joseph Scaramella and Marie Amato, Scaramella. Lucille was a loving mother, devoted wife, sister, aunt and grandmother.
She was the eldest of 10 siblings and always understood the importance of strong family bonds. She was an incredible person. She enjoyed Atlantic City, bingo, and marjoram with her girlfriends. Lucille is predeceased by her parents, husbands, Frank Pizzingrillo; Lawrence Ferrero; brothers, Donato Scaramella; Michael Scaramella; and Frank Scaramella.
Lucille is survived by her daughters, Marie Savarese of Jackson; Lucille Casanova of Matawan; stepdaughters, Christina Ferrero of Marlboro; Amy Geiger of Toms River; Maria Ferrero of Freehold; brothers, John Scaramella and his wife Nancy of Morristown; Valentino Scaramella and his wife Francine of Staten Island; Joseph Scaramella and his wife Joan of Staten Island; sisters, Antoinette Fusco of Jackson; Rose Cartiglia and her husband John of Jackson; Grace Pace and her husband Simone of Clark; grandchildren, Raymond Casanova; Dylan Johnson; step grandchildren, John Geiger; Theresa Geiger; great grandchild Lily Rae Casanova, the love of her life.
