Lucile Higginbotham Null, 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Null; parents, Roosevelt and Sarah Alice Higginbotham; and brother John Vernon Higginbotham.
Lucile is survived by her daughters Betty Jean Merrell and husband, Charles Ray of Huntsville, AL; Sara Deneise Dotson and husband David of Dallas, TX ; son Retired LTC Carroll Ray Null of El Paso, TX; six grandchildren, Jimmy Merrell, Sarah Batchelor, Carroll Ray Null, Jr., John Lee Null, Cambria Dotson and Chase Dotson and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Lois Lowery and husband Bill, brother JD Higginbotham and numerous nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the following: Whitesburg Garden Nursing Home and staff for the wonderful care they gave to our loving mom; hospice of North Alabama especially Michael, for the care they provided that went above and beyond; and for Diann Burruss and Judy White who are more than friends… they are family.
