Newark – Lucile E. Ver Heecke 84 died Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at the House of John, Clifton Springs.

Lucile was born the daughter of Jacob and Minnie Buchner Collier in Williamson, N. Y., February 23, 1918. Lucile worked as a clerk, filling orders for Sarah Coventry (Hanover District) for 23 years, retiring in 1981. Lucile enjoyed crocheting and was a member of St. Michael Chruch.
Lucile is survived by her son, Richard “Dick” Ver Heecke of Rochester; her brother Ralph Collier and his friend Janice Young of Palmyra; her sisters.
Hazel Monje of Lyons and Gladys Ryckbost of Newark; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Lucile was predeceased by her husband Camiel in 1978 and her son David in 1985.
