Lucien Ernest Staquet of Aldan, PA and Port Salerno, FL, passed away from complications of a chronic disease on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.Lucien (“Lou”) was the loving and proud father of his two sons, and two daughters, Kathy Hazel (Frank), Lucien (aka Lee) (Cheryl), Karen, and Ken (Ellen). Lou was a beloved and proud grandfather of his eleven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.Predeceased by his beloved brother, Eugene, and his parents Lucien Luis Staquet and Marion Payne, and survived by his younger brother Ed and wife Therese of was enlisted in the US Army 63rd Tank Battalion from 1953 to 1957 and deployed to Kitzingen, Germany where he began his lifelong career as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a proud member of the Heavy Equipment Operator’s Union Local 542 for almost 40 years. Lou had a long love affair with boats and boating. He was a proud member of the Riverside Yacht Club in Essington for almost 50 years. He spent many years on many different boats on the Delaware River, Chesapeake Bay, Sea Isle City, and Port Salerno, FL.
