Harry graduated from Marist High School in Atlanta then went to play football at UGA under Coach Butts until he had a knee injury and then transferred to Alabama Polly Tech University (now known as Auburn University). Upon graduation he received a commission in the U.S. Air Force and spent the next 8 years working in Supply Logistics on Active Duty & another 20 years in the USAF reserves.
He is survived by his wife Sue of 47 years, his children: Donna, Harry, Ashley, Stephen, and his Grandchildren: Billy, Brandy, Catharine, Nicholas, Cody, Jayda, Amber, Hannah, Aydian and Austin.
