Loyd G. WardApril 5, 1953 ~ January 21, 2009Mr. Loyd G. Ward, 55, of New Market died Wednesday at his residence. Mr. Ward was a lifelong resident of New Market. He was in the home health care business for 25 years and was a member of Oakley Baptist was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Maggie Buchanan Ward; one brother, Roy Ward and one sister, Rosie Woods. Survivors include his wife, Marlene A. Ward; his children, Catrina K. Mann and Mychal, Regina F. Taylor and Todd, Shana D. Quick and Chuck; Hali B. Ward; his seven grandchildren, Trenton, Triston, Emma, Jacob, Dawson, Payton and Sophia; one brother, Charles Ward; and four sisters, Anita Berry, Mae Gifford, Mardale Owens and Barbara Scott. Special thanks to lifelong friends, Roy and Jeanette Smith.
