PEET, Lowell F. Kalamazoo Passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 in Kalamazoo. He was born April 14, 1926 in Allegan, a son of George, Sr. and Mary Biddle Peet and was a resident of the Plainwell area for 50 years. Lowell spent three years in the United States Army during WW II and following his service, he was a self employed carpenter for over 40 years. On April 2, 1948, he married Margret “Jean” Bazaan, who preceded him in death in 1999.
He was also preceded by his parents; two brothers, George, Jr. Blanche Peet and Hollis Mildred Peet; and a sister, Helen Nub Rackley. Lowell is survived by his children, Kevan Barb Peet of Kalamazoo and Carie Phil Nixon of Tolono, IL; two grandchildren, Megan Shawn Anderson and Amber Eric Camp; a brother, Paul Lil Peet; nieces and nephews.
