Lowana “Lou” Youngberg, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011. Born in Rodeo, CA, on Nov. 9, 1933, she was the daughter of Manuel Santos and Isabel Cabral Santos. A resident of Fair Oaks Ranch for 20 years, having moved there from Hawaii, she was a member of the Cibolo Creek Community Church. Lou was also a member of the Boerne Newcomers, Fair Oaks Ranch Women”s Club and Texas Friends. She was known for her hospitality and graciousness was a wonderful Wife, loving Mother, and awesome Grandmother. Mrs. Youngberg is survived by her husband of 53 years, Cdr Guy M. Youngberg, USN, ret. ; daughters: Lani Popp and her husband, David, Cindy Neeley, and Karen Seguin and her husband, Michael; grandchildren: Matthew Popp and wife, Sarah, Andrew Popp and wife, Rachael, Philip Popp, Hannah Popp, Rachel Popp, Christopher Neeley, Jenna Neeley, Kalena Seguin, and Isabella Seguin.
