Mr. Lovell E. Adams, Age 78, of the Fly Branch Community passed away Sunday September 29, 2013 @ 11:40 am at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio after an extended illness.
Mr. Adams was born in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Opal Adams. He worked for the CSX Railroad for 10 years then worked for the Lewis County Highway Department for 23 years. He was a member of the Bethesda Assembly of God in Vanceburg, Ky. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving is his wife of 50 years whom he married January 12, 1963 in Lewis County, Joann Bivens Adams.
One Son- David Adams of Winchester, Ky.
One Granddaughter who he adored- Monica Adams of Vanceburg, Ky.
One brother- Billy Adams of Camp Dix, Ky.
Preceded in death beside his mother was a brother Jackie Adams.
