Louise MacIver, age 75 years, of Carver, died Friday, December 24, 2021 at Gosnell Hospice in Scarborough, Maine. She was the wife of Robert Bruce MacIver, and the daughter of the late James J. and Virginia M. (Capone) Reale. Born in Boston, she was raised in Hyde Park where she graduated from Hyde Park High School. She loved being a stay home mom; a part time aid at the West Elementary School in Plymouth; and retired as a people greeter at Walmart in Plymouth, where she enjoyed the kindness and conversations of her customers. She loved her country, family, friends, and pets. Known as “Nonnie” to many, she played an intricate role in her children’s lives, as an adoring mother and grandmother to Alyssa. A devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Carver, Louise faithfully volunteered wherever she was needed. She had strong faith and loving devotion to the Blessed Mother and St. Anthony. She loved her Italian heritage and cooking delicious meals for family and friends. She enjoyed celebrating all the holidays with family and friends, especially the 4th of July. No matter where she went, everyone loved sweet Louise…her smile, kind heart, laugh and spirit! She will be our Christmas Angel. Besides her husband Robert Bruce MacIver, she leaves her children Lee Ann Blackand her husband Randy of Windham, Maine; and Mark MacIver and his wife Karen Boutiler of Plymouth, her granddaughter Alyssa; her sisters Carol Collagan and her husband Neal Johnson of South Carver, and Joanne Belben and her husband Ed of Attleboro; sister-in-law Ruth Reale; and nieces and nephews Virginia Baker, Billy Collagan, Shawn MacIver, Jim Reale, Christina Petrucci, Tracy and Anthony Belben. She was the sister of the late James
