Mrs. Louise Long Moore, of Graham, died at the Hospice Home on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 9:05 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late George Harland Moore and the daughter of William Haywood Long and Lydia Lashley Long, both deceased. Mrs. Moore was a retired kindergarten teacher with Andrews Memorial Readiness School with 30 years of service. She was a member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice Ray and husband Gene of Graham; son, Lynn Moore of Elon; two grandsons, Gregory Moore and Daniel Moore; two sisters, Eula Black of Graham and Ann Underwood and husband Eddie of Burlington; and two brothers, David Long and wife Patsy of Burlington and Jerry Long and wife Jean of Gibsonville.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Ray; three sisters, Dorothy Younger, Mary Frances Rich and Jean Clapp; and three brothers, Hester Long, Roy Long and Earl Long.
