Louise (Gram or Weedie) Woods, 91, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, September 9, 2015, after she passed away at a local care facility.

Louise was born in Raynham, MA on February 3, 1924, to Lester and Madeline Hall. Louise was the youngest of five children. She was raised in Raynham, MA. She married Woodrow Berdeaux and lived in Raynham for 13 years. She then moved to Hialeah, FL in 1955 where they raised their son Donald. Over the next 60 years she opened her home and her heart to help raise many children.

She loved children and taught kindergarten through the fourth grade over many years. She retired and moved to Mississippi to be near her son and his family. Her husband, Woodrow, died in 1993 after being married for 52 years. She married her second husband, Ralph Woods in 1995, who died in 1997 after an illness. She then moved to Great Falls, MT to be near her family whom she loved dearly.

Louise is survived by her son, Donald Berdeaux of Great Falls; daughter in law, Sonita Berdeaux; 6 grandchildren, Katrina Cichosz of Orlando, FL, Alexis Gallaway of Woodburn, OR, Merissa Hice of Greeley, CO, Eric Berdeaux of Houston, TX, Misty Berdeaux of Houston, TX, Araya Berdeaux of Great Falls, MT, and close friend, Elaine Peacock.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Woodrow Berdeaux and her second husband Ralph Woods; sister, Shirley Lawrence; brothers, Wendell Hall, Warren Hall and Tad Hall; parents, Lester and Madeline Hall and grandchild Amberly McDonald.

Louise’s faith and prayers were an inspiration to her family and friends. Louise opened her home to many relatives and friends and those in need over many years. It was an honor and privilege to be her son and grandchildren, and she will be missed greatly. She will now be able to be with her beloved husbands and parents and family members who have gone before her. She is now being rewarded for being a good and faithful servant.

The family would like to sincerely thank the Lodge and Highgate Senior Nursing facility and Dr Mel Margaris for the wonderful care they provided for Louise for many years.
