BAHAMA- Mrs. Elaine Long OâNeal, 85, passed away Thursday November 23, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. OâNeal was born July 24, 1932 in Durham, NC to the late Charlie and Lydia Long. She worked at Liggett & Myers for a number of years before becoming a Homemaker to her loving family. Mrs. OâNeal and her husband James owned and operated Mr. Part, Inc. for over 25 years. She loved to cook and feed friends and family. Mrs. OâNeal was a member of Roberson Grove Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She will be remembered as a woman who opened her arms and home to everyone.
Mrs. OâNeal is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, James Everette OâNeal; parents, Charlie and Lydia Long; son-in-law, Mark Crabtree; brother, Paul Long; sister, Nellie Long; nieces, Phyllis Mangum, Gloria Rigsbee and Valinda Long.
Mrs. OâNeal is survived by her daughters, Jo-Anne Crabtree, Lisa OâNeal Pendergraph (Henry Ray), Angela Davis (Chris Davis); grandchildren, John Crabtree, Eliza Pendergraph (Nicholas Riley), McCager Pendergraph, Everette Pendergraph, Olya Stang, Kalyn Stang, and Lorin Davis; niece Deborah Long; god children, Carl Burns (Gerri), Patty Gauthier (Richard), Linda Landry (Steve), Gary Burns (Faye) and Erika King (Ervin); longtime friend Rosie Hagan; and numerous extended family members.
