Louise Davis Moore-Arrington of Crawfordville, GA, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 18th at the age of 92.  Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many and will always be remembered for her warmth and kindness. She was born in Sparta, GA on April 16, 1930 to the late Joe Sidney Davis, Sr. and Carrie Delilah Holcomb Davis. She graduated from Sparta High School and attended Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, GA.  Louise married Henry Gee Moore, Jr. and they made their home in Crawfordville. She worked for ASCS in McDuffie County and also helped her husband on their farm.  After having her children, she always enjoyed getting together with the family.  She was an excellent cook, enjoyed sewing and later in life loved to color.

Louise is survived by her children: Bobby Joe Moore (Delores) of Crawfordville, GA, Jane Moore Hubert (Rick) of Crawfordville, GA, Carolyn Moore Stewart (Bob) of Big Canoe, GA and Henrietta Moore Duvall (Tim) of Greensboro, GA; grandchildren: Susan M. Polhill (Phil), Rob Moore (Kim), Cindy M. Claxton (Britt), Jamey Widdon (Wayne), Nick Hubert (Tammy), Jeb Stewart (Jessica), Sara S. Chambless (Heath), Evan Duvall (Nicole), Clay Duvall (Kelsey), Scott Anderson (Tiffany) and Trey Anderson (Jamie); great grandchildren: Hank Dollar, Betsy Dollar, Wyatt Claxton, West Claxton, Shelby Moore, Shane Moore, Dusty Anderson, Natalie Anderson, Iris Abbott Anderson, Hamilton Anderson, Ali Ayers, Ellie Riner, Regan Hubert, Anna Frances Chambless, Samuel Chambless and Caroline Duvall; sisters: Blanche Scoggins and Mary Frances Abernathy.  She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years and father of her children, Henry Gee Moore Jr. and her second husband, Gordon Arrington; infant son, siblings, Billy Davis, Joe Sidney Davis, Jr. and Martha Mixon.
