Catalli, Louise (nee Prezioso) of Dumont passed away peacefully Friday, February 28th. Born in the Bronx, Louise moved to Dumont in 1972. It was in Dumont where she spent some of happiest years of her life living at the Dumont Senior Housing with so many friends. A parishioner of St. Mary’s RC Church and active with the Senior Citizens Club of Dumont this highly creative and artistic wife and mother proudly spent over 50 years sharing her talents. For many years she was know for creating window dressings that were showcased in New York City’s most fashionable window displays. One of her most notable accomplishments was creating the first artificial Christmas tree that appeared on the Price is Right in the 1950’s. Louise was the beloved wife of the late John Catalli and loving mother of John Catalli, Yolanda Di Cola, and Lisa Henry. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
