Louise Bey, age 91, of Vandalia, born June 13, 1926, departed this life October 24, 2017 at home in the comfort of her family’s presence.
She leaves to cherish her memory seven children, Patricia (Charles) Buck of Vandalia, Ganeeeyah Quran of South Bend, Priscilla (Jerome) Clay of Chicago, Verna Green of Fayetteville, North Carolina, James K. Green of Dowagiac, Lisa (Raynard) Comer of South Bend, Uvenia Bey of Vandalia; eleven grandchildren, Jeremiah (Sandra) Jones of Dowagiac, Charles (Melanie) Buck of Vandalia, Tennille (Reynaldo) Hooper of Cassopolis, Sierra Buck of Three Rivers, Lisa Buck of Elkhart, Kenyata (Kevin) Maki of San Pablo, California, Cicely Clay of Chicago, Traci Flower of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Robyn (Sean) Walker of South Bend, Derek Comer of South Bend, Kelly Comer of Indianapolis; twenty three great grandchildren; and one great great grandson; one cousin Mrs. Maude Bogan of Chandler, Arizona; and dear friends, Mrs. Rosetta Cole of Carbondale, Illinois, Mrs. Dolores Washington of Chicago, Mrs. Ozella Marshall of Portage, Michigan, and Ronald Bradshaw of Clarksville, Indiana.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Klementi Z. Bey and great grandson, Carvell G. Johnson.
