Mr. Ippolito was born the son of Joseph and Mary Mezencea Ippolito on July 8, 1915 in Brooklyn, New York. He retired from Newark Florist in 1996 after working there as a grower for 65 years.
Mr. Ippolito was a member of the Newark VFW Post 2883.
Mr. Ippolito is survived by his loving wife Lisa Osborne Ippolito; sons Gary of Seneca Falls, Rick (Danette) of Newark, Tim of Newark, Tim (Patricia) of Buffalo and John (Melissa) Ippolito of Herkimer; daughter Tammy Ippolito of Newark; nine grandchildren; brother Angelo (Alice) Pellicano of Lyons; sister Nancy Drinkwater of Phelps; many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ippolito was predeceased by his son Gerald in 1943; granddaughter Heather in 1998 and grandson Timothy John Jan. 2002.
