Louis Paul Giacomozzi, 65 years of age and a lifelong resident of Burlington, passed away peacefully, Wed. Aug. 17th at his residence. Born in Trenton, NJ on Oct. 25, 1945, he graduated from both Holy Cross High School, class of 1963 and Rider College. He was the President of Lou’s Electric Service since 1979.
Formerly he was a member of: Union Local #269, I.B.E.W., a contractor with N.E.C.A. (S. Jersey) and a contractor with Union Local #351, I.B.E.W. Lou was a Past Commodore of the Kent Narrows Yacht Club (MD), a member of Burlington Lodge #32 F&AM, Past President of the Aquarian Corvette Assoc., charter member of N.C.O.A. and an accredited judge (Corvette ’68-’72 class) of Bloomington Gold and many other shows.
He was the original owner of “Mint ‘72″a corvette in shows all over the east coast (winner of numerous “Best in Show” and other categories). He was also a member of the Amici Club Bocce League. Son of the late Louis J. and Carmel (Francesco-Giacomozzi) Olintz, he is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Barbara Anne (nee Ent) Giacomozzi, his daughter and son in law Tamara and Robert Rapciewicz, his brother in law and sister in law Robert and Marguerite Ent, two goddaughters Michelle A. Ent and Antoinette Cappelli and two nephews and their spouses Stephen and Audra Ent and Christopher and Tracey Ent.
He is also survived by an uncle, aunts, several great-nieces, great-nephews and many cousins.
