PALMER – Louis N. Palmer, Jr., 58, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at his home after being in declining health for a number of years. He was the loving husband of Kathleen (Boothe) Palmer. Born May 19, 1948 in Torrington, CT; the son of the late Louis and Winifred (Hunt) Palmer. He grew up in Winsted and spent most of his life in the Winsted/Norfolk area. He worked at Riiska’s Bus Company in Winsted as a Driver and Mechanic for years. He also worked at Regional District #7 High School for a number of years as a Custodian. He had a love of gardening and animals. In addition to his wife, Kathleen, he is survived by a sister, Judy Ransom. He was predeceased by two sisters.
