Louis J. Bottiglia, 82 of Howell, NJ died on Monday October 17, 2016 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Louis was born in Staten Island, NY and moved to Howell, NJ in 1990. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1957-1959. Louis worked for AIG for 46 years in the Purchasing Department in Neptune, NJ and as a Supervisor in the Accounting Department in lower Manhattan.
He owned numerous thoroughbred racehorses and pacers for twenty years. He loved watching his horses race in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey. He enjoyed traveling throughout Europe, the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and celebrating many happy occasions with them during his lifetime. Louis is predeceased by his parents Luigi and Filomena Bottiglia; his siblings Marie Schick, Hugo Bottiglia, John Bottiglia and Benjamin Bottiglia.
Surviving are many loving nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
