LOUIS FLINN, age 78 of Catharpin, Virginia died Thursday, July 31, 2003 at Prince William Hospital, Manassas. Mr. Flinn was born March 9, 1925 in Middleburg, Virginia son of the late Zachary Taylor and Molly Patton Flinn. He moved to Catharpin in 1948. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1967 with 20 years of service where he served during The Korean Conflict and The Vietnam Era and was involved in the Bay of Pigs. He also retired from Fairfax County in 1990. Mr. Flinn was a member of The American Legion and the VFW. He loved to garden and socialize at Alveys Store. He was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald quot;Scooterquot; Flinn. Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Margaret Ann Flinn, two sons, John Louis Flinn, Sr. and his wife, Linda of Palm Harbor, Florida and Roy Taylor Flinn, of Catharpin, one sister, Edna Clark, of Manassas, two grandsons, John Louis Flinn, Jr. and Andrew Ray Flinn and numerous nieces and nephews.
