Louis F. Marzi, Jr., 87, passed away on December 16, 2020. He was born on March 24, 1933 in New Britain, to the late Louis and Elsie (Lenzi) Marzi. He was a graduate of Goodwin Technical School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Alongside his parents and siblings, they owned and operated Marzi Florist in New Britain. He later worked for Tilcon until his retirement. In 1956, he wed the love of his life, Lois Ann (Fracasso) and were married for over 58 years. They made their first home and started their family in New Britain, later moving to Kensington and then East Berlin. It’s difficult to sum up Lou’s life in just a few words. He was a talented craftsman, a die-hard Yankees fan and a longtime member of the Berlin Lions Club. Lou was happiest on days spent with the people he loved: doing home improvement projects, having dinner with lifelong friends, meeting buddies for coffee, traveling with Lois, and going for Sunday drives with his family.
