Mr. Louis Attardo, age 87, husband of Susan Russo Attardo of Milford, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008 in St. Joseph’s Manor, Trumbull. He was born in New York City on May 23, 1921, firstborn child of the late Vincenzo and Congettina Attardo. At the age of seven, Lou moved to Milford with his parents and remained a lifelong resident of the town. He was a barber for 53 years and the former proprietor of Tony’s Barber Shop, located in Milford on Daniel Street. A veteran of WW II, he was married to his beloved wife Susan for 63 years. Lou was the eldest of 10 siblings. He is survived by his wife, one brother, James Attardo of Milford and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Russo and Mrs. Mildred Reynolds, also of Milford. In addition, Lou is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and two great-great nephews.
