Born in Brooklyn, NY, on January 19, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Fred and the late Myrtle Goodhue Thomas. She was the wife of the late John Leonard Snekenberg who died on January 25, 2001.
She is survived by one daughter: Karen Lewis and her husband Bill of North East, MD; grandchildren: William Lewis, Jr. of Boston, MA; David Lewis of Perryville, MD; and Michelle Lewis of Perryville, MD; and her great grandchildren: Nicole Lewis; Meghan Lewis; William Lewis; and Jenna Lewis.
