Lorraine J. Parsons, 95, finished her earthly journey on March 4, 2015 with her children by her side. How grateful her family is for the long and full life their beloved mother and grandmother was blessed with. Born in Chicago on June 8, 1919, to Carl and Edna Koy, Lorraine was the second oldest of four children. When she was 21, she married Robert Parsons and started down the then traditional path of being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, excelling in all of these roles. Oh how her family will miss this special lady with her easy-going, agreeable demeanor. Lorraine is survived by her loving children, son Thomas Parsons (Diane) and daughter Patricia Emrich, her cherished grandsons Cory (Lisa) and Ryan (Holli) Parsons, her precious great-grandson Chase Parsons, her sister Charlotte Trulli in California, her brother Carl Koy in Nevada and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of almost 50 years and her older sister Mildred Anderson.
