It is with great sadness that the family of Lorraine Maria Huard (nee Barela) announces her passing after a brief illness on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at the age of 74 years. Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Deacon Ken Huard (Capt., USAF Ret.) and their four sons, Ken (Melanie), Steve (Amy), Kevin (Veda), and Chris (Jennifer). Lorraine will be fondly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Ashley (Bryan), Jakeb (Julie), Izak, Ariadne, Sayre (Kelsey), Sophie, Kienan, Grayson, Alice, Franklin, Hazel, Addison, and Harper. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Santiago and Maria, and her brothers Crestino (Mary), and Richard (Alice). She is survived by her sisters, Viola Romero (Frank), and Gloria Archunde (Greg).
Faithful Lorraine was born on October 30, 1943 in La Jara, Colorado. Lorraine met her future husband at a USO dance and was smitten enough to marry the love of her life on May 7, 1966 in Englewood, Colorado.
