Lorraine Louise Toth, age 89, a resident of Boerne since 1955, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013. She was born August 12, 1923 in Hulbert, Oklahoma to Luther Alvin Darnell and Laura Elizabeth Hakes Darnell. She graduated from Cotulla High School in Cotulla, TX She moved to San Antonio, TX and married Alex Toth at the First Baptist Church in San Antonio on April 16, 1949. She worked at Southwestern Bell Company as a telephone operator during the war. After that she was employed at the Boerne Star where she delivered papers. Later, she stayed home as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Laura Darnell, her brothers, Ralph, Alvin, Vollie, Don, Luther and half brother, Franceylus. She is survived by her five children, Elizabeth Eckles (husband, Steve) of Idaho, Thomas Toth, Lawrence Toth (wife, Amy) of Boerne, Marilyn Toth of Garland, TX and Bruce Toth of Boerne; six grandchildren, Jennifer Toth Calder, Greg Toth (wife, Lindsey), Lucinda Washington (husband, Dennis), Jamie Seefried (husband, William), Dailene Natoli (husband, Nicholas) and Jared Eckles (wife, Summer Dawn); 13 great grandchildren, Emma Calder, Hunter Calder, Alison Toth, William Toth, Trinity Seefried, Kaydence Seefried, Joselyn Seefried, Danika Seefried, Addison Seefried, Elise Seefried, Kelyse Washington, Carson Natoli, and Macadie Eckles.
