Chuck joined the Army Air Corps, and as the wife of an eventual Air Force lieutenant colonel, Lorraine, Chuck, and their daughter, Monica, lived throughout the U.S. and abroad. Lorraine was the office manager of a medical and dental clinic as well as a homemaker and mother. Following Chuck’s death in 1964, Lorraine eventually found her way to Niceville, Fla., in 1985.
