Lorraine Duthie Wengler went into eternal rest on Friday, January 24, 2014. She was born on October 23, 1924 in Fernie, British Columbia. After marrying Raymond (Ray) Wengler on June 26, 1945, they traveled to San Antonio where they made their home and raised their family until 1994, when they moved to Boerne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, in 2003. She is survived by her brother, Bob Duthie in Cranbrook, British Columbia; her daughters, Rae Ann and Mary Beth (John); her son, Bud (Vera); four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Our beloved “Nanny” was an extraordinarily loving and giving mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
