Lorna Dianne Green, 69
Okeechobee – Lorna Dianne Green was unexpectedly welcomed home to our heavenly father on October 21, 2021. She was born on June 3, 1952, as a third-generation Upthegrove and was a resident of Okeechobee for most of her life. She was living in Palm City at the time of her passing.
Lorna was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and housewife all her life. She was a devoted cousin and friend to many. Lorna was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Eastern Star of Okeechobee, as a past matron. Her jokes, shenanigans, and sense of humor were one of a kind. If you knew her, you knew her and you will always have a happy memory that will make you laugh. Lorna was truly special, and she will be deeply missed by us all. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing with family, going to bingo, watching forensic files, and spending time with family and friends. Lorna was a firm believer in prayer.
Lorna was preceded in death by her mother and father, Earl Carlton Davis and Delores Upthegrove Davis; her sisters, Gail Lynette and Claudia Jean; and her nephew, Vernon.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Lynnette Martin (Christopher); two granddaughters, India Dianne and Kymber Skye; one grandson, Alexander Blower; her nieces and nephews, Sheila and Travis Smith and great nephew-Buddy Smith, Jason, Jeniffer, and Catherine; and a host of other cousins and family.
