Lorinda May (Hulsey) Ashworth, 57 slipped away on August 30, 2010 while residing in her adopted home town of over 40 years- Phoenix . She was born in Sullivan , MO on August 14, 1953 and was oldest of 4 children. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Fillmore Hulsey. Lorinda was preceded in passing by her husband, James Ashworth and is survived by their only child, daughter Angela who remains her parents greatest joy. Lorinda leaves behind her cherished mother, Elveta M. (Isom) Hulsey; two sisters, Deborah and Pamela; brother James; 2 nieces, Candy and Marissa. She is also survived by various aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, friends and other family members. This very special soul also leaves behind 2 pets, Suzie Q and Ginger Snap as well as a great host of many long time friends, neighbors, and business colleagues all of whom loved her and well miss her dearly. “Lorinda, forever one of our family’s best. May peace be yours at your time of rest.”

James Olin Ashworth, Jr. 58, departed life on August 18, 2009 after 40 years of residing in Phoenix . He was born in Catiwissa , MO on September 22, 1950 and was one of 5 children, born to Mr. and Mrs. James O. Ashworth, Sr. Jim was survived by his wife of 40 years, Lorinda M. Ashworth, but his sweet Lorinda soon left this life to join him. Their much loved daughter, Angela now survives them both. James was known to his family as Jimmy, and leaves behind his mother, Rose; sisters, Sharon, Charlotte and Deborah; and brother Daniel. Jimmy is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He had many dear friends and he was a man who was truly loved by all of his family, friends, neighbors and associates. A special mention would like to be made of his grandma, Mrs. Irene M. (Kopf) Ashworth Mahan (1907 – 2001) whom he always adored, and his grandma simply loved him all the more. “James, trusted caretaker of our family’s heartbeat. Rest loved one, until once again we all shall meet.”
