Loretta M. Young Myers, 79, Anderson, passed away April 4, 2012 at Millers Merry Manor-Chesterfield after an extended illness. She was born October 20, 1932 in Seneca County, Ohio, and resided in Anderson since 1935. Loretta was a 1950 graduate of Anderson High School.
She retired in 1985 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 30 years of service. She was a member of the UAW Retirees; past member of the Eagles Auxillary, Order of Eastern Star and the American Legion. Loretta was a member of the VFW Auxiliaries.
She is survived by her husband whom she married September 16, 1981, Samuel G. Myers; sons, Tony Jackson special friend, Connie Neal of Anderson and Dana Zirkle of Bunker Hill; step-children, Jamie Duckworth of Anderson, David Myers of Anderson, Melissa Anderson of Arlington, Texas and Anita Myers of Ohio; two grandchildren, Derek Jackson and Meagan Denton; several step-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, Francis L. & Fannie M. Biller Young.
