Carol McDougal
Carol was born on May 12th, 1939, in Santa Monica, California to James and Lula Huntsman. The second of four children, she grew into the sweet and feisty woman we all loved. On January 26, 1963, she married Harold McDougal in Redondo Beach, California. In the fall of 1972, they brought their children Lori, Gilbert, and Scott to Idaho. They settled in Gooding and continued to raise their family, giving birth to Deporter in 1974.
Carol loved Jesus and her life reflected her faith. She often studied the Bible with Harold, particularly enjoying the Psalms. She devoted her life to following His Word and cared for all those around her. She and Harold both enjoyed square dancing, which they participated in with Buttons and Bows for many years. Carol was an avid crossword enthusiast and she folded them just the way she liked them.
She had a passion for cooking and baking, and she always cooked by feel rather than following a recipe.
We rejoice in the fact that she is united with her Savior, as well as the loved ones that preceded her in passing. We rest assured that she is free of pain, and free to share her laughter, smiles, and winks in Heaven.
