Lorenzo was a living legend having survived his horrible wreck back in the 70s at Phelps Dodge mine. He was an inspiration and a hero for his sons and anyone who knew him. Lencho loved to talk about his days as a softball fast pitcher. He was one of the best pitchers in Grant County as he gained some of his experience while also pitching in Vietnam. When Lorenzo had visitors he enjoyed talking with them about the truth and they loved talking and listening to them. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1983.
He loved sharing his hope of paradise on earth under God’s Kingdom. Lorenzo carried the hope of resurrection into paradise earth and stars in his heart and mind until his death. His hope was based on the Bible’s promises for all who are sleeping in the grave. Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his name (Jesus Christ’s voice and come out to a resurrection of life John 5;28,29 The meek will possess the earth and will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace and they will live forever on it.
