Lorena Melanie Struve, aka “Googie” by family and close friends, was born on October 3, 1964 in Stamford Connecticut. She is survived by: her son Tyler, her siblings Carl, Donny, John, Rowena, Wayne, and Gail.
While she wasn’t born in Florida she firmly believed she was born “Florida Raised”. She loved going to the beach, tanning in the sun, and driving along the coast.
Her compassion, sympathy, and selflessness is truly where she shined as a beautiful human being. It didn’t matter what you looked liked, where you came from, or who you were to her she treated them equally. No one was ever truly a stranger to Googie.
Another special quality she carried was her ability to make others smile and laugh. Googie could make a room of 3 sound like a room of 30 as her raucous laughter and keen sense of humor were known to be infectious.
Lorena’s pride and joy was her son Tyler.
To anyone that knows Lorena Melanie Struve, they understand that she is at peace now. She is looking down on us from the heavens above as she believed in God, his son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
