WINSTED -PFAEFFLIN – Loreen Pfaefflin, 82, of Smith Hill Road, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2007. She was the loving wife of Joseph Pfaefflin for 60 years. Born October 7, 1924 in Winsted, CT; the daughter of the late Carl O. and Mildred (French) Nelson. She was a wonderful homemaker and also a member of the Eastern Star. She loved gardening, knitting and croqueting. She also loved nature, birds and poodles. In addition to her devoted husband, Joe, she is survived by a niece, Sarah Lee "Sally" Tuinstra and her husband Hank of North Granby. She was predeceased by a sister, Morilla "Peggy" Lampson.
