On Wednesday, February 17th, 2021, Lore Vogan, loving mother of three children, passed away at the age of 93.
Lore was born on December 28th, 1927 in Frankfurt, Germany to Gustav and Justine Ullmer. In 1954, she married Ralph Vogan and moved to the United States, raising their three children in Alabama. She also had the honor of spending twenty of her golden years with William H. Murray of Huntsville, AL.
Lore satisfied her incredible drive for knowledge through reading and had a passion for painting. She was known for her class, organization, baking and genuine compassionate spirit.
Lore was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband “Rocky” Vogan, companion “Bill” Murray, and oldest son Mike Vogan. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Lonnie and Gina Vogan of Huntsville, AL; daughter and son in law Kristy and Sean Speers of Laceys Spring, AL; four grandchildren, Nicholas Vogan of Omaha, NE, Whitney Hooper of Owens Cross Roads , AL, Braden and Mason Speers of Laceys Spring, AL; four great-grandchildren and one sister Heidi Windolf of Germany.
She will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery next to her husband “Rocky”.
