Lonny Darwin Malmberg
November 3rd, 1956 – May 4th, 2019
Lon returned to our Heavenly Father on May 4th, 2019 while at his second home, Sourdough Wilderness Ranch. He was born on November 3rd, 1956 to Verl and NaDean Malmberg in Ashton, Idaho.
In August 1983 he started his career adventure with Northrop Grumman, formerly, Thiokol.
Lon married the love of his life Brenda on June 22nd 1996, and made their home in Roy. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman where he made many memories with family and friends doing what he loved. If he wasn’t out on his four-wheeler enjoying life, he was out on the golf course.
He enjoyed being with his grandkids every chance he could get. They all had a special place in his heart.
Lon is survived by his wife, Brenda, children: Dawn (Bryce) Slater, Steven (Lynsie) Malmberg, Zayne (Kory) Malmberg, his step children: Brandy (Steve) Thomas, Megan (Scott) Frandsen, Chelsey (Anthony) Martin, Dallas (Edwenia) Green. Nineteen grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. His mother-in-law Idonna Nickell, four sisters: Cheryle (Doug) Pantle, Denise Parker, Shelia (Cliff) Crittenden, Janet (Keith) Pratt and one brother Joseph (Vickie) Malmberg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Cayden Green, brother-in-law Wayne Parker and his father-in-law Scott Nickell.
