Lonnie Ward Ross Brantley, 57, passed away Friday August 1, 2014 in Trafalgar. He was a resident of Trafalgar. Lonnie was born June 11, 1957 in Franklin to Doyel D. and Hildagard (Wein) Brantley.
Lonnie married Karen Rose June 2, 1990; they were married for 24 years.
He was employed as a truck driver for USF Holland for 20 years. Lonnie enjoyed playing poker, fishing, riding four wheelers and his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Brantley of Trafalgar, three children, Amy (Brian) Mink of Trafalgar, Lonnie (Ashley Sewell) Brantley of Martinsville and Jason Kidd of Tennessee, two sisters, Linda (Tony) Hedge of Lebanon and Sharon (Don) Malone of Whiteland, two brothers, Charlie (Cindy) Brantley of Florida and Mikel (Kristin) Brantley of Illinois and six grandchildren, Jason and Jaylee Richards and Brayden, Alyssa and Katlynn Mink and Brandon Kidd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyel and Hildagard Brantley.
