Lonnie Gregory, 80, of Morehead, KY, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by his family on May 20, 2017. Lonnie was born April 12, 1937, to Matthew and Mary Tennie (Caudill) Gregory in Morehead.
Lonnie served two years in the U.S. Army as military police and was awarded the Sharpshooter’s Medal. When he returned home on leave, he met his beloved bride, Hester Tuttle, and they married on March 19, 1960. They had three beautiful children, Tammi, Darwin, and Regina.
He managed Morehead Cable TV System for several years before starting his own cable companies in Pine Hills and Mount Olivet. He served as President of the Morehead Chamber of Commerce and the KY Cable Association. He established Morehead Electric in 1984, where he served as President.
