Lonnie ‘L.B.’ Hamilton
Lonnie went to be with our Lord on March 12, 2021. He was born December 11, 1939 in Allred, TX. He married Peggy McCasland on March 1, 1959 at Belvue Baptist Church in Hobbs.
L.B. and Peggy owned and operated L.B.’s Truck and Auto Repair for many years where he developed lifelong customers and friends. He earned his ASE Master Certified Mechanic certification.
L.B. always thought of himself last and his greatest joy was his family.
Survivors include his son Bob Hamilton and wife Kris of Hobbs; his daughters, Teresa Gage and husband Guy of Fort Worth; Donna Montes of Hobbs; his granddaughters Lori Roberson and husband Douglas of Lovington; Kerri Kamischke and husband Joel of Midland; and Kristina Hamilton of Hobbs; his grandsons, Chad Kleinsteuber and wife Katherine of Carlsbad; Robi Hamilton and wife Cori of Hobbs; and Dakota Montes of Hobbs; 12 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy; father George; mother Edna; brothers Joe, Jack, Wilburn and Jim Dan; sisters Eva Ann Pritchard; Mineola Payne and Lula Livesay.
