Muncie – Lola (Rice) Thrasher, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Willowbend Living Center following an extended illness.
Lola was born in Midway, Kentucky on July 8, 1929, the daughter of Raymond B. and Josephine (Wagner) Wash, and attended Kentucky Schools.
Mrs. Thrasher worked for over 25 years in Quality Control for Kerr Glass until her retirement. She was a member of Full Gospel Temple.
Survivors include a daughter, Bertha Kinsey, Muncie; four brothers, Douglas Wash, (wife-Barbara), Sidney Williams, (wife-Rose), Wesley Wash, and Jimmie Wash, (wife-Geneva); six grandchildren, Eddie Kinsey, (wife-Cindy), Shonda Morvilius, (husband-Bruce), Tammy Chambers, Tommy Rice, Tina Cox, (husband-Jerry), and Travis Rice; several great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; a sister-in-law, Carol Rice; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Callie.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands; Edmond Rice, and William R.
