Lola R. VanNorman
Newark – Lola Ridley VanNorman, 95 of Washington Street died Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at the Wayne County Nursing Home.
At the request of Mrs.
Mrs. VanNorman was born the daughter of Nelson and Mary Pelis Ridley on June 21, 1906 in the town of Arcadia. She taught school in Lyons and in the town of Arcadia. Mrs. VanNorman was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Newark and the Newark Grange for which she was a member for 75 years.
Mrs. VanNorman is survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great step-grandchildren; sister Hazel VanderBrook of Marbletown; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. VanNorman was predeceased by her husband William in 1974; daughters Dorene Tucker in 1990 and Charlene Lyon in 1995.
