DURHAM- Mrs. Lois Weathers Ferrell, 98, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Brian Center Southpoint.
Mrs. Ferrell was born August 28, 1922 to the late Louis and Lula Weathers in Harnett Co., NC. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 72 years and taught Sunday School Class for over 50 years. Mrs. Ferrell enjoyed cooking. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Mrs. Ferrell is preceded in death by her husband, Clevin “Felix” Ferrell; brother, Willard Weathers; sisters, Bessie Lee Rollins, Vada Johnson, Mary Gladys Weathers, Pauline W. Council and Hazel W. Woodall.
Mrs. Ferrell is survived by her sons. Larry W. Ferrell (Brenda) of West End, Kenneth F. Ferrell (Barbara) of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Keith Ferrell (Ti-An), Todd Ferrell (Pam), Kevin Ferrell (Jennifer), Stephanie Thompson (Wayne), 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
