Lois Margaret Poplin Simpson of 20176 Hwy 52 S., Albemarle, NC died August 28, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. The daughter of the late Pearson J. Poplin and Hattie Jenkins Poplin, she was a CNA at the Lutheran Home. She was a lifetime member of Porter Methodist Church, taught Sunday school and was an active member of UMW.
